Anderson Vapourbar Vapour Control Layer is typically for use in a warm built-up flat roofing system within a pour & roll specification, and is attached to the roof structure by bonding in hot poured bitumen compound.
In a warm deck roof situation the thermal insulation is positioned above the flat roof deck and immediately below the waterproofing, resulting in the structural deck being at a temperature close to that of the internal spaces. A vapour control layer must be provided beneath the insulation to minimise the risk of interstial condensation.
